Venue Info

Prudential Center, known as “The Rock,” is an indoor arena in downtown Newark, New Jersey. Opened in 2007, it hosts concerts and New Jersey Devils hockey, offering a central setting for live entertainment and major sporting events.

The arena's capacity is approximately 18,500 for concerts and 16,514 for hockey. Its seating options range from close-up Lower Bowl views to more affordable seats higher in the arena, with premium club spaces and luxury suites available for select events.

Seating Guide

• Lower Bowl, 100-level: Close to the stage or ice and a popular choice for fans seeking an up-close view.
• Club Level: Premium seating with access to club amenities, including the Primus Club.
• Upper Bowl: A more budget-conscious option with panoramic arena views; front rows can offer strong value.
• Luxury suites: A premium option for groups and corporate outings.

For concerts, floor or near-stage Lower Bowl seats can bring fans closer to the performance. The best choice depends on the event's stage layout, so check the seating map before booking. Upper sections directly behind the stage may have a limited view for some concert setups.

Getting There and Parking

Newark Penn Station is about one block from the arena and provides access to NJ Transit, PATH and Amtrak services. The venue's downtown location makes public transportation a convenient option for many eventgoers. Uber and Lyft drop-off and pick-up are available near the Lafayette Street entrance.

• Mulberry Street Garage: Located at 50 Mulberry Street, with listed prices of approximately $15–$30.
